dbfinch
I feel like this has been an issue in my game for a while, but the further I play, the more apparent it is becoming. At the time of this post, the following teams are below the salary floor (52.8m): Anaheim, Boston, Buffalo, Calgary, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Detroit, Edmonton, Florida, Los Angeles, Minnesota, New York Islanders, New York Rangers (37m!), Pittsburgh, San Jose, Vancouver, Washington, Winnipeg. Why even have a salary cap in the game if two-thirds of the league is beneath the cap? krownroyal83
You're not the only one that has had this problem. I heard of another guy on a different forum that into his 10 season most teams were under the cap. Some as much as 25 million. The new players that are coming into the game are either not talented enough to demand big salaries or maybe there is another reason i'm not sure but it needs to be fixed because if you play a long enough game it ruins immersion. dbfinch
The biggest issue I'm finding with it is making trades. With two-thirds of the league below the cap, a lot of trades I can only make if I give up more salary than I take.
Mars_Blackmon
It might have to do with player's rep down the line. Currently I do not think a player's rep change at all so new players may have the same rep for their entire career making a sortage of stars. With the current database you will see the AI make moves to reach cap floor and stay under the cap so I don't think its bad AI just players not demanding high salary.
