robbie_start
Hi all, Was on my laptop on the way home from Tenerife last night on the plane, using laptop battery power and I had it on battery energy saving, I tabbed by mistake but then when I clicked back on FM it came up and said graphics something disabled and now I can't do anything on the computer, I press the windows key and it brings up start menu, anyone help with this? Don't want to restart computer as I haven't saved for about a month (in game) Thanks
Kriss
Try Ctrl/Alt/Delete, if it opens Task Manager you should be able to go to FM from there if it's still running.
robbie_start
Tried that and as soon as task manager comes up I can't click into it or anything?!
Bababui
You might have accidently disabled tour touch pad.
martplfc1
Could let the battery die? I know when mine does FM stays running and is at the same point when I plug the laptop back in. Warning - if you do this I accept no liability for any losses caused!

Ideally never let your battery fall below 10% power if you want to keep it healthy.
martplfc1
I'm sure once wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

I also close the lid like this and sometimes run out of battery for it to load windows strait back up and the game where i left it, i would try clicking on FM so its there, even if you cant see it and press Ctrl+S as it might save it

Bababui
most new laptops shut themselves down way before the battery could be damaged (on default settings). Hope so...its better to lose 4 weeks of a FM game than damage your battery. I did some reading and it looks like the word is its best to keep it between 20-80% if in use or 40% if you use AC most of the time.
