Uri Posted October 19, 2015 Share Posted October 19, 2015 When asking my vice captain to welcome new signings into my club I have noticed that while The vice captain himself might occasionally get a boost of moral himselfs (Which I intended to make for the new signing),whereas the new signing never get any boost but occasionally get demoralized drastically into " abysmal " which in turn makes me "uninterested " to take the chance and ruining their moral from the first day in the club... Either your vice captain doesn't have a good personality or leadership for that kind of thing, or the player feels like he's not wanted since it's only the vice captain greeting him. I got a team without a captain who has been signed by another team ...So I was left at the meantime with only a vice captain...And my vice captain has one of the best personalities Resolue/Reserved...Determination 18...Age 26...80 appearances with the club...So he's really good...Leadership 13...Nothing wrong with him... Maybe the other players at the team does not welcome new players for selfish reasons? Maybe the moral of my players is poor (It is actually) and they don't feel friendly at the moment? In fact I got two new players infected with " abysmal " moral after my conversation with my vice captain...So it's clearly related to that talk with him..There is no indication what so ever what happened after that talk... I signed a few players before them who weren't infected with that virus but still didn't get any moral boost...Maybe the team players got fed up by me introducing new players to the club since I'm making a major overhaul... Hopefully he is a Key Player for your team. thanks,I just wait maybe I will sign a new player more suitable for this job...Usually changing a captain could cause a major upset...Just before starting the season I would get a notice that I must choose one...At the meantime the vice captain will do... Yes , absolutely sure... but you are right, the name of my captain is still the one that is no longer at my team... You can ask your caprtain/vice captain what is the atmosphere in the dressing room (moral among the players) I know for sure that a new signing to the club effects it...People get scared they will be offloaded or subtituted by the new arrival.... Your assistant with his report after a match give you also feedback about the moral amongst the players and I pay a very close attention to how each new signings affect the moral...By introducing him properly I hope to achieve a better cohesion and teamwork on field..
