Miravlix
In Fm15 with my training setup, I don't remember any training injuries during the season, in FM16 it's an issue with the same setup. For the senior team, I just go with balanced/average all season, with 2 or 1½ boxes of match training, the 1½ because I set rest to be before matches and I think it gives players 1½ rest day (Never actually verified that it's true). My concern is that after a match, where player condition is at the lowest, they go directly into training and I'm might be making the chance of injury worse. Second reason for before match rest, is international breaks, the before match allows me to rest players as they return from Int games and it's much more likely they are rested for our matches. This doesn't always work, even with little match training, since anything short of 1 box MT, seems to risk that the player arrives after the rest day and a single rest day isn't always enough anyway. I also try to remember to put a rest day after the last match before international break, in the hopes the player will have less of an injury chance on int duty, but this is often forgotten and also players might be leaving before the rest day kicks in, so I'm not actually sure it works. I've always made injured players available for reserves, but I'm not sure I can trust the reserve manager in FM16, does he play the yellow injury players to early? Edit: Really seems like the interface in relation to injuries could use a major update, way to much micro involved in setting things up. In FM15 it was more a roleplay issue, but now it seems like all the little things I thought was the right thing to do, has become mandatory to battle the new injury system.
