Ravenblood
Sorry if it has been mentioned already but I searched a bit and only found two unofficial sources saying that it's coming out one week before the full release and a couple of days before release.I haven't bought it yet and I would like to try it out before I buy it. forameuss
When it's ready probably. Not particularly helpful answer, but probably the most accurate. They never give dates for anything, for obvious reasons.
Welshace
There is no set date yet, but sometime around the release of the full game I would guess.
Wiitastic
Why would there be a demo if the full game is out in 5 days? It makes zero sense. Surely they would just fix up the reported bugs from the BETA. Less is more.
Welshace
The function of a demo, like with any game is to allow people to try the game before making the decision to buy, it's a win win for both SI and customers and has nothing to do with bug fixing. frogsplash
Didn't miles say the demo was coming out the same day as the full game? Think I read/heard that somewhere

But then why release it the same day as the full game? Should of been released last Friday, a week before the full game is released.
kaul
Well imo there is absolutely no incentive/ advantages for a first day purchase. This isn't an MMORPG where getting a head start will render you better in game. So play the demo on release day and decide if you like it... then buy afterwards. Only thing this affects might just be first day sales.
Soninho
I'm going to try out the demo just because I'm a little bit uncertain if my computer can handle a few things in FM16, and don't want to buy it if I can't play it the way I want.. For new FM'ers it's a good way to maybe get hooked in a game they otherwise wouldn't purchase. Like Welshace said, win win for both SI and customer! forameuss
But then why release it the same day as the full game? Should of been released last Friday, a week before the full game is released. Because then it would be already a week behind the code-base that the release candidate would be on. Liked playing it the week before release? Too bad, we subtly changed something that means that behaviour you liked in the ME no longer happens. Nae joy. If they do it like they do now, then the release candidate and the demo are the same thing from day 1, letting you have an informed decision.

Like Welshace said, win win for both SI and customer! Or in my case, none of the announced "new features" have convinced me to buy it on release date instead of waiting for the Steam winter sale. Maybe the demo will change my mind.

Maybe the demo will change my mind. It very well might do. I wasn't as bummed out about the features as some were, but it's the little things and the general polish that have really impressed me, rather than the new things. Worth a try on the demo to see what you think definitely.
