Jason Cummings

Jason Cummings (born 1 August 1995) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Scottish Championship club Hibernian, as a forward.

Cummings grew up a Hearts fan and attended Tynecastle High School playing for local boys team Hutchison Vale before joining Hearts, after struggling with injuries he was released by Hearts in 2012. After an impressive season with Hutchison Vale he was signed by Hibernian in summer 2013. Cummings made his debut senior appearance for Hibernian in a Scottish Premiership match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in November 2013. Cummings scored his first career goals on 21 May 2014, netting twice as Hibernian won 2–0 against Hamilton Academical in the first leg of the Scottish Premiership Play-offs. However, Cummings missed in the penalty shootout after Hibs lost the return leg 2–0 and were relegated to the Scottish Championship.

Cummings won the SPFL young player of the month award for September 2014, after his two goals helped Hibs to beat Rangers in Glasgow.

I picked him up for 850k, and used him as a super sub, he just can't stop scoring for me, decent stats and has risen in value to 4M already! :applause:

Just snapped him up with Wolves on my Beta save. How have people been playing him? I intend on using him as back-up to the likes of Afobe and ALF.

I was subbing him on at around 60 minutes and he was bagging a goal every game, Afobe got injured for me and he then just scored about 8 in a row.

Feels like cheating, I think he is averaging a goal every 68 minutes, which is insane really.

I had played around 14-15 matches of a throwaway Wolves save and noticed Afobe picking up a fair amount of injuries. Weird really as he never used to get injured at Arsenal and only lst year he played 40+ games for MK Dons and then Wolves from January onwards.

Picked him up for 500k for Sheffield United (throwaway save until the final release when I'll start as Yeovil). Looks decent already, although he's rotating with Marc McNulty.

I bought him for a similar amount first Jan transfer window also for Sheff Utd to use as backup and apprentice to my goal machine, Billy Sharp. Unfortunately, Sharp tore his hamstring a few weeks later so Cummings was thrown in the deep end. Stuttering start but he has about 10 in 8 now, at least on par with Sharp. Looking good for next season in the Championship for sure.

How do you have McNulty in the first team? He starts with a long term injury and as a consequence looks unlikely to ever be of any use on my save.. and how come you're not using Sharp?

Edit: Nevermind, googled it. I'm guessing I was really unlucky with a first day training injury... -_-

I got rid of Sharp second season for a paltry £350k. He was appalling, but likewise he received a bad injury a few games in. After that, I played a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 with Baxter as a F9/DLF. McNulty was a AF for me and is easily capable in the Championship.
