Jon1982 Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 I really really want to download the demo this year to see if the 3D match engine works on my 2011 Sony Vaio Laptop before buying the full game. Does anybody know a)If/when a demo for FM2016 is released and b) In any likelihood is my computer too old to support the new version. I want to test it on the demo before purchasing. samdiatmh Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 A) The demo release is unknown to everyone except those at SI, although speculation would be within 1-2 days of the actual release of the game (so probably on Friday or the Weekend) B) Your computer will probably be able to run FM, but it's hard to make a concrete statement with what you've given us Can you post a list of specs, and then we'll be able to help you out a bit better - the three most important listed below (just type in what you see when you run dxdiag) 1) CPU/Processor 2) RAM/Memory 3) Video Card (if any) - only relevant for 3D match quality though Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jon1982 Posted November 11, 2015 Author Share Posted November 11, 2015 Thanks. It says Processor Intel ® Core TM i5-2430MCPU @ 2.40GHz (4CPUs) 4096MB RAM Direct X Version 11.1 Its Windows 10 as well. samdiatmh Posted November 12, 2015 Share Posted November 12, 2015 is this your laptop, or similar to it? yeah, a HD300 is likely to struggle with the 3Dness of the match engine as per HERE, you should be okay to run the 3D, especially considering those minimum specs haven't changed since FM14 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
