Thunder88
I've just bought a new laptop and wanted to first try the demo to see if it could handle the game well enough.. But when i first boot up the game it seems to feel laggy, the create a manager screen has a few seconds delay between each click...and sometimes it just freezes on the EULA privacy terms screen too....i've played the game for an hour or so but the problems i mentioned happen now and again randomly if i boot up or start a new career. Is this a known problem,as i would rather not buy the game if this laptop can't handle it? the laptop specs if this helps are... Windows 10 Home 64 bit AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 graphics (4 CPUS) 2.2 GHz 8GB RAM 1TB HDD Thankyou.
Welshace
I mean, that CPU is basically an ULV notebook processor so it won't perform too well tbh.. but I wouldn't have thought it would hang significantly on the menu etc. Try updating your drivers etc and make sure you aren't running too much else and see if it improves things, if not, I'd suggest you either upgrade or maybe give it a miss as you wouldn't want to put too much strain on the system. Then again, if you're happy with the game as it is.. enjoy?
Maviarab.
Google clean booting (little long-winded to explain here) to start windowas without half the crap it pre-loads upon boot up and see if that improves performance also. But as Welsh suggested, it's not going to be fast.
Thunder88
Thanks for the reply The game itself runs very smoothly so i'm happy with that,it's just that now you've said my processor isn't good enough i don't want to push my laptop over the edge and kill it...(can this happen further down the line?) Maviarab.
Might want to keep an eye on temps, prolonged overheating is never a good thing, especially with a lappy. Enjoy
