holup
Say if you have a powerful computer what's optimal? In order to still get transfers rather quick but still be able to find top players etc from around the world?
Administrators Neil Brock Posted November 14, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2015 Personally I load the best say 6-8 european nations, a couple from South America (Bra/Arg), then one from each of the other continents and a large db. But everyone is different to what they want.
..Valhalla..
Personally I load the best say 6-8 european nations, a couple from South America (Bra/Arg), then one from each of the other continents and a large db. But everyone is different to what they want. This is basically what I do as well. England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, Portugal (All leagues)Brazil, Argentina (Top only)South Korea (Top, view-only)Custom Database (include all players of UK and Ireland Nationality). Usually a good 70,000 players with a nice mix from around the world.
Dagenham_Dave
Surely it depends on the team you're about to manage. Not much use loading all the European leagues if you're interested in a long term Singapore save.
samdiatmh
ALL the players and leagues got to keep it as immersive as possible
milamber
ALL the players and leaguesgot to keep it as immersive as possible I'm running FM 15 with the largest database and about 50 leagues (only England on Max Detail). Over 100,000 players. Performance is better than previous versions where I was running less than half the amount of leagues. My PC is i7 4.5ghz, 16gb RAM, Windows 10. Roy Race 9
it depends what you want and how good that machine is I have a custom made high end system and ran a 250k database as a test was pretty good until 31 December, there are so many player contracts ending it slowed it right down know someone who ran it with 330k but that was a mega desktop that's my aim to build a machine to play with everything on max ....might get NASA or pentagon to assist
eple
For my Villa save I've got England (Leauge two), France (Ligue 2), Germany (Bundesliga 2), Spain (Liga Adelante), Italy (Serie B), Portugal, Netherlands, Russia, Belgium, Turkey (top league) Large DB And in every continent: All international players All continental rep or above players All Players from top clubs And in Europe: All players from clubs qualified for European competitions Gives about 90k+ players with top players and regens from every country, a challenge in the international cups, lots of active clubs so it's possible to sell players, and for me the processing is not noticeably slower compered to a smaller set up. Animasta
here's what I do since my computer isn't that great; load 4-6 leagues, mostly USA; England, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal (or one I'm playing like Turkey or Belgium). load all current national players from every continent. It gives you some great players you might not have otherwise, especially from places like Persepolis or TP Mazembe.
phd_angel
I always have Brazil, England, Spain, and Italy. If I fancy starting with a lower-division club, I add more leagues and a few more smaller nations (Portugal, Holland, Slovenia, USA etc). If I fancy starting with a super club, then I only pick Top leagues of those few key nations. I think Medium size database suffices for me. I feel that a Large database gets too messy. Performance is better than previous versions where I was running less than half the amount of leagues. My PC is i7 4.5ghz, 16gb RAM, Windows 10. It's a LOT more optimised for FM16 though on FM15 my 'all-leagues, all players' test took around an hour to holiday a month on FM16, that same setup took me around an hour to get to November FX8320@stock, 8GB, W7 @robbo - I'm currently running all players on my save with those above specs, but does take a while to initially set up though (around 15-20 minutes to get to the 'add new manager' screen) only loaded 8 countries fully though (so around 25-30 leagues)
holup
do you still get receive transfers?
trueblue
I usually go with England,Scotland,France,Spain,Italy,Germany,Holland, Brazil and Argentina ,, sometimes I will add Portugal or Belgium depending on who I plan on managing. I have all the leagues playable and usually just the top lg if going a big club and lower lgs with a smaller club but usually then sacrifice a couple of nations as the scouting range will likely not include em right away any way. Not sure how much you can go by the computers star rating,, but with that set up I get about 3 star for game speed and 5 for whatever the other rating is for. I have always wondered about that and wither I am selling myself short or not,, I am running a Alienware M15x with i-7 Q740 1.74GHz 8gb RAM and a Nvidia GTX 460m
