Maw74
Possibly the worst thread title ever. Good luck, though. Thanks It won't be staying but I just wanted to get started and I did have even worse titles.
Maw74
We started with a game against leaders Ebbsfleet and we were very much second best.We conceded two penalties with a great strike from Bywater getting us level in between. In the FA Trophy we took a half time lead but we succumbed to a Plummer hat trick. We then managed to turn the form around and picked up three wins and a drawto move up the table and out of the relegation zone, Michael Thalassitis has steppedup after some criticism in the media regarding his lack of goals for the club.3rd but it was very close. Maw74
Decent improvement. On the thread title as well. Thanks. Couldn't really get much worse though.
Maw74
The good form continued away at Clarence Park as a brace from loanee Noel Burdett secured a 2-0 win.The good run was ended with a miserable display against Whitehawk that prompted this headline. We then suffered another home defeat at the hands of Gosport, we trailed after 18 minutes butThalassitis levelled only for us to concede just 4 minutes later, we then had a trip to Margateand took the lead with our first shot on target, it turned out to be our only shot on target.Warburton was the only player signed, we also had to recruit another chief scout after the previous one left for Torquay. Extended the loan of Noel Burdett and also extended Freddie Grant's loan deal.
Maw74
It was a good month as the improved form continued, the only blip was at Chelmsford, don't reallyknow why that performance was so poor but it was very frustrating to see especially after the previous game.We now have 10 games left, can we do something that didn't really look possible when I took over? Will be very hard to make the play-offs but we have a fighting chance anyway.3rd place for our striker. A shame to lose him at this time, just didn't have the budget to keep him.
Maw74
Just one defeat but only one win this month, a play-off place is now very unlikely.

Maw74
Gives you a good platform for next season though! Yeah, Play-off talk was on the very ambitious side anyway, a case of wanting too much too soon.

Maw74
Awful April month I am sure you will build on for next season. Maw74
I finally signed a new deal after putting it off.My new captain is happy anyway.TransfersFull SquadResults>>> Click Here For Full Match Overviews <<<It started well enough but that was a false dawn as we soon returned back to the poorform that we closed out last season with. Can't really understand why we are playing so badly.Well we continued to play badly, no matter what I tried I couldn't get the team to improve. So frustrating, team can't pass, shoot or even move much as they were just a lack ofmovement, shooting wasn't any better, good at giving ball away even when not underpressure, also good a clearing to row z when it's not really needed. Hardly surprising as it has just been horrible.Anyway there have been loads of offers and loads of jobs to apply for,I have a new club and will reveal where soon. BadManager
That's rough after you seemed to have them going in the right direction for most of your first season. Sometimes there seems nothing you can do when things start to go wrong. It can just snowball. Hopefully your luck in a new job will be a bit better. Thanks, yeah losing some key players didn't help things either, I did think about jumping before being pushed, had offers I could have taken as well, at times we could have just grabbed 11 people from the stands to play and they wouldn't/couldn't have done any worse, the woodwork is not my friend either hit that quite a few times. Maw74
Just had some very bad luck. Then this happened to our number 2 in the very next game. and the rules but I don't know what is considered grounds for bringing one in.

edtheguy
Ah, the beautiful Edgeley Park, I think that is where I enjoyed my longest stay between sackings in FM14. Good luck! I don't see the emergency there, it's not like you really need a keeper anyway....
Maw74
Oh dear, it did end well with Bishop's Stortford. No, should have left instead of signing that new deal. Ah, the beautiful Edgeley Park, I think that is where I enjoyed my longest stay between sackings in FM14.Good luck! I don't see the emergency there, it's not like you really need a keeper anyway.... I have looked on the loan list but when I go to transfer a player it won't allow me to click the loan option. This is my GK situation. So had to go with one of the greys. I have finished the season now, will get update done later.

Thanks, yeah it appears that they like Ireland. From Wiki - Operations[edit] The Danske Bank group operates a number of local banks around the Nordic Region as well as across Ireland. Maw74
Club InformationThe ResultsClick here for full match overviewsMade a terrible start losing to a late goal from bottom side Carrick Rangers. The next two league games were much better and then we pushed Linfield to a replay. The next four games saw us gain 5 points and progress in the cup, that run included anotherhard fought draw with leaders Linfield, the unbeaten run came to an end against Cliftonville.Another three defeats followed including a semi-final cup exit against Portadown.I was a bit fed up of watching games at this point and opted to use the instant result option.Looking at the results it proved to be a good decision as I doubt I would have done that well.We missed out on Europe thanks to Linfield losing the Irish Cup final to Dungannon.Player StatsThe DecisionReached the stage that I now have to decide, stick with Glenavon or make swift return to England?
