Noah
Hello All I'm getting a little frudtrated with strying to get a solid defence. I play 4-2-3-1 G-de RWB-Su LWB-Su LD-Co CD-St BWM-De BBM-Su LIF-Su AP-Su RW-At CF-At Control Structured Normal Tempo Fairly Wide Defence Line - Slightly Deeper Closing down - sometimes Build-Up Passing - Exploit left and right flanks, clear to flanks. Directness - Mixed Retain Possesion Attack Final third - Work ball into box The goal: Attractive football - I don't want to hoof it, I also want to be a soldi unit that's difficult to break down. The problem - my centre backs (and sometimes full full backs) are so leaky it's unreal. Reghular 5/10 (ish) and the odd 4.5/10 etc. I'm Sheffield Wednesday (sorry Cleon - if you read this you might remember me as the Sheffield lad called Axl on Susie ) I should have the defenders to be fine at Championship level. I can't work it out. Attacking I'm not too bad but I'm not creating 'loads'.
RTHerringbone
Your midfield two is the main issue and the use of AML/R is another factor. Read the Pairs and Combinations thread stickied in the forum to get an idea of safer midfield duos in a 4-2-3-1. Try that out and then see if the AML/R need some consideration.
