HaroldHammond
Considering buying the 12" Macbook (the one with just USB C port).. Does anyone here have it and play FM on it? Trying to gauge how the laptop performs with FM16 before i buy it as that will be a major use for it. Any opinions appreciated, even if you don't have one
AmazingSteve
It'll probably work (my 3 year old Macbook Air can run FM16) but it'll be far from optimal I'd imagine.

If you're only planning on running a few leagues then you'll be fine but anything over about five or six leagues and it'll start to chug a bit. You'll also struggle with it overheating, the new macbooks are really not very good at staying cool when having to work hard as they do with FM. Any opinions appreciated, even if you don't have one My Macbook Pro 13" runs FM16 very well but I'm afraid that the 12" Macbook is not the best choice for this game: even if it is nice than mine The CPU is basically a low voltage CPU which a turbo boost. This means that for short periods it is quick and - when the heat kicks in - the CPU is throttled down as it has no fan. As FM is a processor intensive game I would advise - if you want a Mac - to buy a Macbook Pro.
