wiregn
Hello I'm looking for someone who's really good with the editor for fm 16 and are willing to help me. I want it to be only ONE round ( The teams will only play against each other once during the season.) in the the top leagues in following countries; Germany, France, Spain, England and Italy. If anyone could help me with that I'd be very grateful!

KUBI
Should be possible, but you need to set-up all competitions from scratch, five editor files with nation rules, and all the rules for the competitions added. It's also possible by editing a xml file manually with notepad. You just have to change this line: <integer id="number_rounds" value="2"/> You could download some custom league files that added lower division and than edit the value for the top division. I don't know if it is still possible to edit the basic comp. files, which would be the easiest way.
KUBI
Basic comps are there, so it's an easy task. Editor folder --> data --> basic comps load the file with notepad search for this: <integer id="number_rounds" value="2"/> edit it to <integer id="number_rounds" value="1"/> save it. Start a new game with the nation you edited.

KUBI
Hm, that's because the game does load the comps.dbc file. Copy the file to the editor folder and try to load it as custom league file. I guess you have to import the file into the editor and than save it as a .fmf file.
wiregn
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it still doesn't work. Thanks for your help anyway!
KUBI
Try to download an existing league file and just change the rounds from 2 to 1. Or change the rule in the basic comps in the editor - import and convert it to advanced rules.
MBarbaric
Basic comps are there, so it's an easy task.Editor folder --> data --> basic comps load the file with notepad search for this: <integer id="number_rounds" value="2"/> edit it to <integer id="number_rounds" value="1"/> save it. Start a new game with the nation you edited. are you sure that basic comps file in data folder of editor is actually the one that game loads for basic competitions? i doubt it since game loads these fine even if you don't have editor installed. therefore i guess it has to be some file in fm game folder if it is even visible. if you have any suggestions or knowledge i'd like to hear as i'd love to edit foreign rule for all the basic comps... KUBI
Just made a test and it works with editing basic.comps file for Germany. Import it to the editor convert it to advanced rules Change the match rules 3 for the Bundesliga @wiregn: To change the competition to just one round you have to change it in both Bundesliga comp. 2015-2016 and 2017. http://postimg.org/image/whm60li91/
