4 cups, 1 league, same results

Hi everyone

I'm creating the league rules for Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon

Their league has a special structure, and I'm not sure how to set it in-game.

Only 3 teams play in this league

They have 4 cups.

Each teams plays each other twice in each cup.

But all the cup results are also used as the results of the league.

The 2 teams with the most league points play each other in a final.

Does someone have an idea how to create this special league ?

I think you could do that by adding 5 stages. As they play each other twice in every cup, it's basically a league system (just with a declared winner for every stage). The fifth stage would be a playoff final.

So I've created the league using the 4 stages.

However, I can't find a way to get the playoff final to use teams with the best record all year long.

Can only get teams with the best result from one of the cup.

How can I correct this ?

Try to setup another stage (or just use the fifth you already made), which is only used to gather the results from the 4 other stages.

There is a "other comps to add stage to" tab. In this new stage add the four other stages to this tab. Use this new stage to set-up the playoff.

It's also possible that it works the other way around, adding the 5th stage to every of the four other stages...

I never used that before, so I'm not sure if will work, but worth a try. Using the editor is always learning by doing...
