RSeven
I am very happy to see the new feature of tactics for FMM2016. - Can assign pass direction - Can assign primary oulet and attacker After playing one week, I am dispointted that these two features look no use. In my test, I assign pass direction to "left" and set my DL as primary outlet and my AML as primary attacker. I think most of my attcking should be happened in my left flank. But I did not see what I expected. And in match statistics, I can not found my left flank player played more actively. And when I review tactic section on fmhvibe.co.uk, the tactic post are not toughing these two features. Maybe we need more instruction or example from SI to use these two features. SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 3, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 3, 2015 Yes they do - I am however looking at tweaking how players behave somewhat for more defensive players set as outlets as presently it may be they're not utilized often enough when there is a player 'free' to pass to who is in a more advanced position (still looking into this presently - any tweaks will appear in the first 'full' update for the game which will appear before Christmas). PS - It should also be noted that these options do not mean 'all' play goes down that side and it is obviously somewhat dependent on marking and other factors such as how the opposition play as to how effective those options are, if you're playing say Man Utd and they're constantly closing down your preferred outlets then they might simply not get to see much of the ball because its intercepted on-route to them etc.
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 3, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 3, 2015 Would you mind sharing the tactic you've been trying to use out of interest as it'd help with my analysis of this side of things - generally if using a defensive player as an outlet I'd expect you'd have things setup to be fairly patient (so not attacking mentality) and probably not pressing as you'd want this play-maker to have space when you regain possession ... is this the case? Thans for your reply and good news for coming update. After your explanation, I realize these two feature are not simple. I will try more then give you my feedback.
