Zeonflux
Hey i'm thinking about using a 4-4-2 (set up like a 4-2-4 with the wingers in the AM Strata) and i'm planning on using the Full Backs and the Wingers on attacking duties. Now the idea is to have the Wingers and Full Backs providing balls into the box for a DLF and an AF in a typical strong and speedy partnership and to combat the over attacking wings i've decided on playing the 2 CMs on a Defensive duty and i was wondering if 2 DLP on Defend would be provide adequate defensive cover and also be better with the ball then 2 CMs on Defense. Any help would be appreciated.
burnum
DLP is a very static role, they usually sit in their space and don't move too much. With the system you described above you'll need the 2 CMs to shut down and control everything in the centre of the pitch - I'm not sure if two rather static DLPs can get the job done. While I'm not completely ruling out that it can work, I'd try a combination of DLP(d) and BBM(s).
Zeonflux
Well the idea of using 2 DLPd is to keep the back door shut and to play the ball out wide to the wide players with the option to play it to the front 2 themselves if possible
