New to the forum need help.

Thinking of starting a long term save with my local team Middlesbrough and I am looking for some help with what tactic to use or some guidance on creating one. I have tried to make my own for other teams and I really am struggling with it. I have read articles and blogs on it and if am honest a struggling to get my head around it all. Any help given is appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. I will have a good read of it all just worried I wont understand it. I am really keen to make my own tactic, in the past I have used other peoples and feel that it has taken away a large part of the enjoyment of the game that the satisfaction of making your own tactic brings.

If you are struggling to even come up with a formation then can I suggest you look at you look at Middlesbrough in real life and the shape they play. Set it up in the game then use Cleons and others guides on here to set the roles etc. That's what I do with Hearts, my team, as you watch them week in week out so you know where they play. It's a good place to start but obviously the roles and style of play have to be compatible and that's where applying common sense and the experts guides come into it.
