FrazT
IN FM terms this will mean that the player will attempt to get forward quickly at every opportunity, sometimes without thinking, so neglecting his defensive duties.

Cougar2010
What is the difference when you set a fullback with attack duty and the marauding fullback? The marauding part I believe is just part of the description of the player and means he just likes to get forward. Whereas the role, duties & orders you give him are what he will try to follow on the pitch.
