orionine
Am playing Scunthorpe now, presently in my 8th season. I've brought the team into the Premiership with previous promotions done every 2 seasons. Now we're in the champions league, 3rd in the league pushing for the title, just recently won the Capitol 1 cup, financially rich and they still would'nt allow me to upgrade the team's training facilities. It's still at 'Good' and even that, it was last upgraded a couple of seasons ago because they thought they owe me one. Heck they wouldn't even upgrade the stadium! Poor me. SI Staff Alari Naylor Posted December 4, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 4, 2015 That seems a touch harsh but hopefully after the end of this season they might offer you something better! Let me know if not.
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 4, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 4, 2015 Would you mind forwarding me a save at marc.vaughan@sigames.com as that does seem somewhat harsh and I'd like to double check their reasoning .. if nothing else it'll allow me to explain the steps you might need to take to get them to improve things ... orionine
Hi Alari and Marc, Thanks for replying. Sure i'll e-mail you the save for your review. By now i've already entered a new season and i believe the 'owe you one' bonus is given after every 4 seasons completed to reward you for your loyalty and true enough i got the second reward soon as i began the new season and when i tried nudging them for a bigger stadium, they still won't budge. SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 6, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 6, 2015 Thanks - I believe I've just recieved this; I'll take a look either this evening if I'm idle (I've promised my boys I'll play board games but might do some work once they're in bed) or tomorrow morning. Being a board gamer myself, which board games do you play with your boys?
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 9, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 9, 2015 Being a board gamer myself, which board games do you play with your boys? Oh gosh - thats a potentially huge list, anything from the traditional games (Risk, Chess, Stratego, Monopoly etc.) down to more modern games like Zombicide, Pandemic, Ticket To Ride, Tsuro etc. - I also love card games - from the tradional ones (ie. Poker etc.) through to Magic, Game of Thrones, Cards against humanity, Superfight, Poo etc. (this is where my game design comes from tbh; I started off making board games for my friends to play when I was a kid)
