FM16 Multiplayer Question

Hi, (I'm new to the forum, so I hope I've put this in the right place)

I'm wanting to play the new draft mode with my brother. We currently just have the 1 steam account that we share with a single copy of FM16. I've already realised that we would need to buy a second copy of the game in order to play any multiplayer. However I have another query: Since we live in the same house and use the same wi-fi, would we even be able to connect to eachother, given that we would have the same IP address? If not, is there any way around this, perhaps by using Hamachi?

You can play standard multiplayer (hotseat) on the same pc and version of the game by simply adding a new manager. This is the old-fashioned way of playing multiplayer!

Not sure about draft games though.

You don't seem to be able to use hotseat in the draft mode unfortunately, which is a shame as I think that would work well. It won't let you start the game unless you have at least two different players (from different accounts/computers).

Looks like FM is yet another game which has gone down the route of thinking people all play solo or online and have no real friends.

Eh? I routinely play fantasy draft in hotseat mode.

One steam account; set up your draft rules; add a manager for each team competing and you are away.

Oh wow it really is that easy, thanks Macon. I had no idea you could just add another manager yourself.
