thomit Posted December 12, 2015 Share Posted December 12, 2015 Even in "offline" mode, Steam will check for and download updates to its client. So the only way to not have that, is to not start Steam. But you need to be in "online" mode to receive updates to the games. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

thomit Posted December 12, 2015 Share Posted December 12, 2015 Steam client - "Steam" dropdown menu - "Go offline". Restarts Steam client in offline mode. Also go into the Settings - Account menu and make sure that the option "don't save account credentials on this computer" is NOT ticked. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
