Overmars
My most recent 50 league matches: First Half Goals For = 63 First Half Goals Against = 12 Second Half Goals For = 28 Second Half Goals Against = 25 Does anyone else have this type of split? What do you do tactically to keep your second half as positive as your fist half? Do you scale back your mentality? Play more disciplined? Keep attacking? Leave everything unchanged? For what it's worth, I am playing a 5-3-1-1, control, very fluid, retain possession, and closing down. I usually drop the mentality with ~10 minutes to go and adjust player roles (attacking wingbacks scaled back to support or defend duties). I have experienced similar goal/half disparities when using a narrow 4-1-3-2 or a 4-1DM-2-2-1 wide formation.
pattricb
What is the overall personality of your squad? It seems like you may have a few players who are prone to complacency or maybe switch off when you're in the lead.
