zlep
Hey guys, I was a huge Championship / Football Manager fan in the early and mid 2000's, so I was really delighted when I heard about FMM and especially that it's smilier to the old games. I just wonder if the negative reviews in the Apple App Store are true? Many people complain that they can't win, no matter which tactic they use or which players they buy. Is that true? Do we not have any influence on the tactic and the game? Thank you very much in advance.

Everyone has there own ideas I guess, but I have had a few Rangers saves and it is tough, but have a Juventus save where I have won the title 9 years out of 10, the Champions League twice and World Club championship, plus various Cups and Super Cups, so you can win things. I also have a PSG save where again, title 2 out of 3 years and Champs League won also with world Club championship. Tactics, 433.

I just thought it would be any kind of an AI advantage where they suddenly get better so that the player never can win. Edit - Are there any good tactics or tips or good player lists? Or can the tactics from Football Manager 2016 be used? Thanks again.
Footix
The tactics editor is rather basic compared to the full version of FM, so you can't create an identical tactic to the ones in the full game. I find the tactic part of things really hard, when you play as smaller clubs then nothing really "works". I get some results every now and then, but there is no consistency to it. By all means it is not a bad game, you really should give it a try.
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted December 25, 2015 SI Staff Share Posted December 25, 2015 Thanks, that sounds good. I just thought it would be any kind of an AI advantage where they suddenly get better so that the player never can win. The AI doesn't cheat - as with all strategy games some people will get frustrated if things go against them, but equally some people complain its too easy - its tuned to play in a similar fashion to our earlier games and is somewhat simpler in terms of tactical options than the full-fat FM. Edit - Are there any good tactics or tips or good player lists? Or can the tactics from Football Manager 2016 be used? Thanks again. That's great. The full-fat FM got too complex for me a few years ago. That's why I'm excited about FMM. Thanks.
