TheBigBoss
Just got a few questions in regards to youngsters I'll try and make them as quick as possible 1) A youngster has 3.5 star potential but including the black stars has 4.5 what do I do to give the youngster the best possible chance of reaching that 4.5 star potential instead of 3.5 star ? 2) At what age do you start adding to their PPM's 3) At what age do you start loaning them and how many loans do you usually give them before deciding if they're in your first team plans 4) and have you ever had a youngster whose stats isn't that special but because you got his PPM's spot on he's had a very useful career with you Thanks
Cougar2010
1) A youngster has 3.5 star potential but including the black stars has 4.5 what do I do to give the youngster the best possible chance of reaching that 4.5 star potential instead of 3.5 star ? The black stars aren't guaranteed, they are "not sure" and there is nothing you can do to guarantee them. However to give a youngster the best chance of reaching their potential they need games. Nothing improves a player like first team football at the right level for his ability. 2) At what age do you start adding to their PPM's Personally I don't really bother and tend to add when advised by my staff. I maybe should make more effort with them but in terms of age it doesn't matter. 3) At what age do you start loaning them and how many loans do you usually give them before deciding if they're in your first team plans I loan out as soon as they can be (age wise). You need to loan to clubs where they will be getting plenty of games mainly. You could also look at their training facilities & coaches ability as well but it won't make much odds as long as they get games. They are in my first team plans when I can find room for them and they have enough ability to be useful. If I can't find room or if they aren't good enough they get loaned mainly although if they have had a couple of loans I might keep them as backup for a season and loan a different player. 4) and have you ever had a youngster whose stats isn't that special but because you got his PPM's spot on he's had a very useful career with you Just because of PPMs? I can't think of one, I think you are focusing too much on PPMs tbh.
