League Structure Help

HI Everyone,

I am trying to create a regional style english league (I know its probably been done before, but wanted to give it a go) and i want it so the top 2-3 teams in each region go on to play the other top teams until there is one winner overall. Similar a champions league group and knockout, but in a league style.

Is this possible as i have been struggling to get this last bit correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
