I never follow the AssMan's advice as I feel that the AssMan always assumes that if something happens to be working at the moment, then it's always going to work and not just a coincidence. I can't remember a time when a team scored on me and I wished I'd followed the AssMan's advice.

I'm just curious if there are managers out there that actually follow the AssMan's advice...and if you do, do things usually work out well?

Depends on how good of one I have, and what kind of advice we're speaking of. I start out in Conf South and I know mine doesn't know a horseshoe from a hand grenade so I take everything he says with a pinch of salt. But later on a get a really good one and some of the information he provides is quality and makes setting things up quicker/easier.

Almost always for me. For OIs and in-match advice about 80%. However not so much for staff meetings as I have my own youth development policy so I ignore recommendation to loan out, or look at players too old for my system etc.
