Delvi
I am editing the current database of the game and I wonder if it will be possible to use this "old" database with the next final patch of february/march or if we will be forced to use the updated database. In this latter case, would the changes made on 16.1 database work on 16.3 database as well?
KUBI
You do not edit the database at all. You just create your own database with changes, which will be loaded into the game, after the original db is loaded. It does not matter if the game loads 16.1. or 16.3 in regards to your changes. My understanding is that I create changes to the actual database, which are applied if I select them when I start a new game.
KUBI
Yes, but the changes are still the same, when a new db is released. Usually you have the option to start the game with the 16.1. or 16.3 db, when 16.3 is released.
Roy Race 9
as kubi states above the DB always remains unchanged your changes are specific to that file only
Roy Race 9
if there are any issues it will just require you having to open that file in 16.3 DB in editor and saving it
