I recently decided to start a new career with Cambridge Utd. The rationale behind this was that i was looking for a team to be in league 2 that had a good base to build from, decent team, not too much of a demanding expectation and was not in debt. As soon as i picked Cambridge i knew this was the team for me. 50K free in wage :O converted that to a 1m transfer budget with still 25k wage left over. Usually when money is available i become like a kid in a sweet shop and spend it all but this time i've decided that my team is fairly strong and with some loan additions from Newcastle after having them become a senior affiliate, i thought we had a strong squad and i better save the money for January in case we were in trouble by then.

I've started off ok with winning 2 and losing 2. Both home games won but lost both my away games. I've got 3 tactics set up but only used 1 of them so far which is the 4-2-3-1 wide.

Just wanted to share some views with anyone else that is Cambridge and see what formation has worked for yourselves, especially for away matches and what youngsters i should be giving a chance to. So far Daniel Carr is someone im backing to do me good and giving starts to.

Cheers.
