Fmfan00
I am playing in a database where my club professional status is set for amateur... how long or how successful do we have to be before we can maybe approach the board for semi pro.. vara
what league/division are you in? i would imagine the club would need the income to turn semi-pro, so if you're making steady profit growth and you're in a league that it makes sense to turn semi-pro you could request it. mark1985
There are certain clubs like Queens Park that can only be amateur, but as a general rule of thumb, I think you need to be a certain reputation, have enough money and/or be in a league that requires it. Anthony Michael Hall
I suspect Scottish football would have looked a bit different had they chosen to go the pro route way back when.
