WHUBen
Just started a new save with Bournmouth, I have just read the roles and combinations thread. However I am struggling with the one role which is RCM Currently CM/Au I am looking to use this formation away against the top 4 clubs. However I am stuck, after I had snipped this. I was thinking should the BBM be RCM than a more defensive duty covering my WM/A? Thanks in advance!
v90-Tama
Are you playing counter attacking football? If so I recommend keeping your back 4 all on support duties to keep a solid line then have your right CM on defend duty
Johnleegriffin
I always play a BWM-S on tge right with a DLP-D on the left
mibsweden
I'd go with a CM-S or a CM-A.
summatsupeer
I'm guessing this is a counter tactic? I think a pretty basic role like CM-S would be fine, then watch how he does for a few games and assess if you want to change the role/duty/PI. I would keep the layout as is, having WB-A + WP-S (who roams) + BBM (who roams) on the same side could cause issues depending on how the players play the roles. There isn't a massive difference between CM-S and BBM, I use the same combo in a 4123 DM Wide and you would struggle to see a difference on the positional heat maps (the BBM average position is a little more advanced even though on the tactics screen is makes it look like the CM-S is more attacking).
