rumcrisis
I've just come to the end of my first season with Woking, and did reasonably well (lost in the playoff final, a sickener). The problem I've got is that after the season the club turns fully professional from semi-pro. This causes a fair few problems, mostly that the players aren't fit enough to play full time and I can't afford to bring anyone in as I'm now using all my budget on full time wages. Anyone know if there's a way to stop or reverse this? I could understand if I'd been promoted, but as I'm in the same league with the same budget it seems strange to make the change without at least giving me an option. There's nothing you can do- the board made the decision, now you have to deal with it. It shouldn't be a real problem for you, though, as you've done well at semi-pro, just keep on and as you resign players, it will be to full-time deals. You don't have to convert them over all at once- just your new contracts will be full-time. The only place it will hurt is in the finances as it is more costly for the club, but you just have to carry on winning
