Attacking Wide players swap instructions

Recommended Posts

What happens to the wide players when they swap, i.e if i have as my AML an inside forward, and on my AMR a winger, when they swap

do they keep the same roles or assume the role of the player they swap with

I.e does my AML when switched to the right now act as a winger or does he still operate as an inside forward?

I'd quite like a set up where i could play 2 inverted wingers with swap instructions where they then become wingers when they swap,

would vary your line of attack well, i know you can do it tactically anyway, but it would be a nice option to do it without having to stop

the game all the time to swap them over manually

Normally, your left will always be an Inside Forward and your right always a Winger.

You can set specific PI roles and Instructions in such a way that you can control exactly what happens when they do swap. So do this, for instance:

- Set your role/instructions as you would normally, IF on the left, winger on the right.

- Now go to Player Instructions and click on the AML position. You can Add Player to add the winger there and change his role and instructions so that when he plays on the left, he'll have his own specific instructions. Then just repeat the reverse for the right.

You can "pre-program" that already, so that you don't have to do it every time you swap the players. Under each player position, there is "add player". There you can put the name of any player you want, and give them totally different roles, duties and instructions if you want. As for what happens when you just swap them; yes, they take on the role, duty and instructions that you have set for that player position. If you have designated that positon to be a e.g. winger, any player you put there will be a winger ... unless you do what I just told you, that is.

Edit: Ah, beaten by Hunter.
