Rodrigo Bentacur - best position?

I've just finished my third game season with Wolves, winning the domestic treble, and it has been my first season with Bentacur. I play a 4231 and trained/played him as an AMR first as a Winger and now as an IF. He's been very good over the season (last few games haven't been great, as the screenshot shows), but he's got some good goals, assists and average rating despite still only being "competent" in the AMR role. I don't play a four man midfield so he's never going to play in his favoured MR, and when I play him at MC (either and advanced or deep lying playmaker), he doesn't really do much for me.

I'm just wondered how other people have used him, in what positions and roles and such. Has anyone made him into a brilliant AMR or AML (as he's right footed he could be an AML IF), or do people only use him as an MC in whatever role? What say you?!

he were a really good central roaming playmaker for my Celtic side before he made a big money move to Bayern Munich

I use him as a CM D. He's awesome.

I'm now 5 seasons in, have trained him mostly as an RPM and as a CM and added extra tackling training (he's either 12 or 14 for tackling).

As a CM D he wins the ball, picks out a pass (some amazing assists from deep) and arrives late where he either belts one in from distance (he's won goal of the season and 2nd in best Champions League goal) or plays an incisive through ball.
