Highsis
I'm playing English 6th division. I signed a bunch of players whose contracts all expire within a month. The problem is for one of them I have to a hefty sum of 'compensation' but I have no idea why I should do that. I looked up and people mentioned various criteria for compensations but none apply to all. Some playered I singed for free were under 24, and there is another player with the same nationality, same age whom I didn't have to pay any compensation to the original team. So how does it work? Could you please clarify for me?
Cougar2010
I believe you have to pay compensation when you sign a player on a bosman who is under 24yo and where his current club have offered him a contract which at least matches his current deal. dan_lcfc
I believe you have to pay compensation when you sign a player on a bosman who is under 24yo and where his current club have offered him a contract which at least matches his current deal. Does that still come into effect if you offer a contract before his current club do? So if you plan on releasing an under 24 y/o and someone offers him a contract, could you offer him a deal which matches his current deal and if he chooses to move, the other club would have to pay you compo?
