Roncatto99
Evening, So I'm trying to come up with a formation that involves the Regista. Based on what it the game states, it will work with teams playing higher up the pitch. This is what I have so far, but not 100% sure on what to do with the AMC Postion. Team is Fluid Control Push Slightly Higher Up Play Out of Defense Work Ball into Box Lower Tempo Play Much Wider Back 4 RB (FB Sup) CB (ST) CB (Cov) LB (FB Att) DMC (Regista) DMC (DM Def) AMR (IF or W Sup) AMC (Not sure) AML (AP Sup) SC (Poacher) My aim is to control the game high up, have movement from the wide men and poacher, Regista dictating game. Not sure what to do with the AMC role as he might get in the way lol. Cheers for Any help
summatsupeer
Well there will be lots of things you could do, it will depend what players you have available obviously but also what you see on the pitch. I would consider / try: 1) Just a standard AM-S and see if he drops deep enough to link with the Regista or if he gets in the way of your Reg + AP-S? 2) You might want to consider moving your AP-S to AMC 3) Consider moving him to MC so he starts deeper and have a BBM or CM-S or CM-A to get forward or to be available to support the Regista and AP or an extra runner for them. Mitja
AMC attack so it keeps out of regista way and supports your poacher.
ozilthegunner
If your AMR is a winger, then the AMC as an AM-A to support the poacher would be good (as Mitja suggests) but if you have the AMR as an IF, then he will be providing that sort of support and so you may want the AMC to be on support and sit back a bit more (like top of the box). In that case the AM-S probably. But yeah, this is an odd way of going about making a tactic. You should first thing about how you want your team to play and how each player fits into that and then select your role accordingly. Just starting with 'what role' (especially after already selecting a location) is odd. Given the setup I would maybe agree with the suggestion to move the AMC to the CM strata and play him as something like a B2B or CM-A. That way he starts deeper and arrives later into the area, helping you stage your attacks. But it may be staged enough with him in the AMC area
