Shirt Names 2D-Modus

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with the players' names which are shown in die 2-D-Modus. For example "Cristiano Ronaldo" instead of only "Ronaldo". Normally there is no problem editing it with the Ingame Editor. By using Ingame Editor there are 4 columns for the name.

1. First Name (Cristiano Ronaldo)

2. Last Name (dos Santos Aveiro)

3. Common Name (Cristiano Ronaldo)

4. Full Name (Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro)

= Name in 2-D-Modus: "Cristiano Ronaldo"

By Editing the Name as follows:

1. First Name (Cristiano)

2. Last Name (Ronaldo)

3. Common Name (deleted)

4. Full Name (Cristiano Ronaldo)

= Name in 2-D-Modus: "Ronaldo"

which is ok!

But there are a few players like Mesut Özil it does not work this way!

1. First Name (Mesut)

2. Last Name (Özil)

3. Common Name (Mesut Özil)

4. Full Name (Mesut Özil)

= Name in 2-D-Modus: "Mesut Özil"

By Editing the Name as follows:

1. First Name (Mesut)

2. Last Name (Özil)

3. Common Name (deleted)

4. Full Name (Mesut Özil)

= Name in 2-D-Modus: "Mesut Özil"

When there is no or deleted common name you will only see the last name on the pitch. Except Mesut Özil. There is only the last name Özil and no common name and it shows "Mesut Özil". Makes no sense and I don't know what to do. Any ideas??

I do the same thing. The problem here is that all Turkish names are shown with both first and last names, even if you have deleted any common name. I think it's hard-coded, although it is annoying.

What do you mean by "hard-coded". So NO WAY to change!? Very annoying!

I might have misunderstood, but would it not be easier to just give them a nickname without using the editor. In 3d mode it's the nickname that will come up.

I occasionally do it and add player preferred foot, (left or right) to help me with decisions in the game.
