bunnybbb
For a guy, age 24, with balance personality. Is it possible for him to increase his CA by 30+ to reach his PA? And how long shall it take?
Carles Alena
Id say its very hard to increase that much and in that age. Players tend to develop very much throughout the ages of 17-23. Their stats can still increase of course or even decrease but only by a small amount after that age. My guess is your looking to either make a better player of what you have in your team already or are looking to buy a player that has room to increase but he is not fairly young anymore. My advice on a possible second case is dont buy that player
santy001
Always possible, but not especially likely.

I am just wondering why a potential player with CA around 100 and PA 150+ selling at less than 200k in age 24, while scout report for very good potential. Cant he reach that PA even has match and training after age 24?
swansongs
I wouldn't bother with a 19 year old looking to progress ~50 points, let alone a 24 year old. If he's not good enough to do a job for you as is it's not worth it. Won't get the gametime to develop, and might not go far even if he does.

herne79
Forget CA and PA. It's not part of the game (unless you are using an add on). Consider your needs for the player, what his attributes are like to fulfil those needs, what your scouts say about his potential and his personality. In the OP you mention a 24 year old player with a Balanced personality. He's too old to tutor to change personality, so he's unlikely to fulfil his potential. Worse, with changes to FM16's team personality, you won't be doing the rest of your team any favours either. 24 year olds (and 19 year olds) can still reach their potential, but only with the right development. However, if he's 24 I'd be looking to put him straight into my first team and unless he has the attributes for that he won't get much game time. Thus his development would suffer even with the right personality. Think about what you need, not some hidden stat.

For PA, i am sure the AI and the scout know it. You can get a rough idea just by scout report. In the previous transfer windows, i did not use editor to check the PA, which i can still pick quite a lot potential players with 140 - 150 PA players at just around 1-2mn fee. But it is too time consuming (in real time) and scout cannot watch the players when they are on holiday. I also focus on current key attritbute value in the past. Anyway, thanks for the comment, it reconfirm me picking someone with solid value in key attributes, rather focusing on PA, which should be treated as the star rating of potential in scout report.
