Tips for National Team Management? Specifically Squad Selection.

I have some experience from my Fulham & Italy two job CM from the Demo that I moved over in my files when I got the full game a few hours ago. But I'm starting a new CM with two coaches so I can manage both the USA & Israel, and I was wondering the best way to compare the ratings of my players in the National Pools. When I've made my squads for Italy in my other CM I've only slightly deviated from the assistant coach's recommended squads as my knowledge of Italy's players isn't as good as my knowledge of the USA Pool and to a lesser extent Israel's since I've played campaigns with them on both the 2010 FIFA World Cup Video Game and the 2014 Game but haven't really seen many of them play in real life on the television. When I go through the menus and scouting options it seems like I can't find the proper reports to compare the players skills like you can easily with your club.
