Im just wondering if its possible for your clubs board not to like you even if you are winning, keep your payroll straight etc. I had a tonbridge save and i swore they just didnt like me. nothing i suggested ever was put into place. Just found it odd because i had taken them to the EPL. So just wondering if its possible for a board to dislike someone for something other then preformance

The requests I don't think have anything to do with how much they "like" you. In my experience they seem to swing between being completely arbitrary...

"Can I have this?"

"No. Absolutely not. How dare you ask us about that you absolute cr..."

"I can see us being left behind our rivals"

"Aye, ok then. Go on."

And completely immovable where no matter what you do, they'll reject it. I've had things approved straight off too, but a lot of the time they're rejected no matter what. I would perhaps put forward that there be a bit more detail into why boards reject certain things, even if it is something completely made up, but at the end of the day the board is always going to be put in direct opposition with you in these kinds of things, but it's still pretty uneven. Whatever the board say, goes. You don't like it? Tough. It's harsh, but it's probably fairly realistic as to how clubs work (or at least should work).

I've had boards sack me despite being fairly successful, just because I'm not being the best with some of the promises though.
