Shiremen
I stumbled upon this old challenge a while ago: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/364100-FM14-The-Tetradecagon-Challenge Basically, it's a Pentagon challenge with extra plus everything. You need to win the continental champions league at every continent: Europe, Asia, South America, North America, Africa. To the challenge I have added Oceania as well. So you have to win 6 champions league. You also have to succeed as an international manager. You have to win: European Championships, AFC Nations Cup (Asia), Copa America (South America), Concacaf Gold Cup (North America), CAF Cup of Nations (Africa) and OFC Nations Cup (Oceania). That's 12 competions you need to win. Oh yeah, you need to win this as well () : FIFA World Cup - FIFA Confederations Cup - FIFA World Club Championships So that's 15 in total. In one save. You also need to: - Start off unemployed - Start off with a Sunday League reputation And you MUST use more some extra countries, not just the basic ones. You are allowed to use Claasens update: http://www.passion4fm.com/football-manager-2016-new-playable-world-leagues-megapack-by-claassen/ Let's face it, if you just use South Africa this challenge becomes much easier. So the new playable countries makes it much more fun and challenging. I myself am now 19 years into this challenge. It's the most FM-fun I ever had! So I challenge anyone who is up for it I will use this thread to tell you of my career/this challenge/fun things that happened to me along the way. Shiremen
The beginning: My dream is to have a computer where I can run all playable countries and leagues at the same time, but I don't have such a fast computer. So I decided that I will load all playable countries from a specific continent at a time. So where in the world to begin? I have no reputation at all, so I decided to start in: Oceania I uploaded these countries: Fiji, American Samoa, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papoua New-Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tahiti And Vanuatu. My aim is to win the Champions League of Oceania. I am of course allowed to change team along the road, the purpose is to win, it doesn't matter which team I will use. I soon was approached by New Zealandian lower league teams to become their new manager, but after reading a bit, I realised that New Zealand does not have any promotion or relegation. So the only way I would accept a New Zelandian team was if they are already in the top league. But the top teams does not approach an unknown Swedish manager like me it seems.. Shiremen
How do I paste in that code where I can show my progress for each season?
Sankalan
What you are doing is essentially the Ultimate football manager challenge with Oceania added. You might mention yourself on that thread so these two become interconnected like The big euro and Gundo threads.
Shiremen
Well, the Ultimate football manager is with the standard leagues. You are not even allowed to add extra countries. Winning for example North American Champions League with a team from Haiti is so much harder than just picking a team from Mexico
forameuss
What you are doing is essentially the Ultimate football manager challenge with Oceania added. You might mention yourself on that thread so these two become interconnected like The big euro and Gundo threads. Except it isn't really. That challenge requires you to win leagues and cups, doesn't it? This is purely the continental and world titles at both club and international level. It was brought in (by me) as a Pentagon replacement. Or more accurately, the pentagon for people who had too much time on their hands. It makes no restrictions on what countries you can load, or any other extraneous competitions, so it is quite different. Good to see someone wanting to take the challenge on. I completed it on FM14 once, but haven't really bothered trying it much since. It's in the mid-range of long-term challenges where you're not tasked with winning hundreds and hundreds of competitions, but you've still got quite a lot of work on. The International tournaments getting added makes things considerably longer, as you often need to wait 4 years for another one if you fail.
Shiremen
I must say, I am going crazy trying to win NACL with an American team. That is hard... For some reason the Mexican teams hate me, and I can't get even one interview when I apply for the Mexican teams instead
