tvjjerome
So I'm currently doing a Jamaica save. I'm playing as both their national team manager and Arnett Gardens, I'm using the Claassen League pack. I've managed to build a solid with Gardens I managed to win NACL and losing to Barcelona 3-1 in the first game at the Club's world cup. For Jamaica I managed to win the Gold Cup once and ecen qualify for the world cup but ggot kocked out after losing to England 3-2. However, the problem I have is that the nations aren't producing good regens. This is my 11th year and the highest PA a regen ever got was a 138 but he then requested to go to a better league and I think he went to Seattle. We're getting good attndnace our stadium started with 3000 capactity and we managed to expand it to 10,000 but if the club and the nation are to achieve more we need better regens. Will it stay like this forever?
tmason122
I think (and I could be wrong as I am not an expert on this) that your problem is not your stadium capacity and attendance, but rather your youth coaching budget, your network and your your training facilities. Ask the board to spend money on these 3 factors and you should see an improvement in the youth players coming through your academy. It will take time, but will work. Furthermore, if you keep being successful with both Arnett Gardens and Jamaica the nation and its league will get an increase in reputation, meaning more money will be available via sponsership deals and more money will in turn will be avaiable for your development...... But that is probably going to take decades before you see major results. I know someone on these forums did the same with a league in Gibralter (I think) and turned it into a pretty epic league with high quality players by the end of his very long save. Welshace
Improvement doesn't happen as quickly as that, certainly not with a nation like yours.. as said, league and country reputation needs to improve... You also have to take into account the relatively small pool of population to pull from...

I think it took close to a century, but as you've said it's possible but often takes longer than people expect or have time for.
Sankalan
Many people have won the world cup with San Marino, surely Jamaica has a higher population. The point is that Some countries seem to be more repulsive to Sponsorship:In Portugal, I won about ten CLs with Sporting, But our total sponsorship was no more than $30million. Then I went to Botafogo in Brazil who somehow had $500million lying unused. Spent some of that and won the libertadores. Within 3 years, I was making about $100million on sponsorship. I dont even think it will have that much of an impact upgrading youth coaching and facilities and even network, as it comes down to countries rating regarding regens importance. For instance top contries like England, Germany etc are rated as very important, where as smaller countries are more likely to be rated as important or unimportant. That's not surprising. Compare the GDPs of Portugal and Brazil and thus a rough approximation of their potential to generate domestic commercial revenue - Brazil's is nearly ten times bigger. The only way to cross that gap is to gain international fans, but that is extremely difficult and often completely out of your hands - despite their top clubs having limited recent success, the best for this is the Premier League. That came about larly because of the league sharing TV revenue, therefore becoming more competitive and a better product to sell abroad - that has far more impact for the top clubs than the individual success of Barca, Bayern or PSG. You can be as succesful as you like in Europe, but you won't get sponsorshop megabucks if people are only watching those games but not your week-in, week-out matches against mediocre mid-table sides or relegation fodder in the Portugese league you probably amass cricket scores against. tvjjerome
The Jamaican reputation did increase, I checked with the editor it started at around 4000 and now we're around 6000, we also improved our world ranking to 11th. As for the club, all the clubs in the league started as semi-professional but we managed to turn proffesional along with one other club in the league I believe. Our league repuattion didn't increase much, we only moved from 8th in north America to 5th so probably that's good. We also get lot's of money for sponshership and now we have 3million dollars however, the board denies everything saying they have a lack of fun. All the spent money on was stadium expansion and turning proffesional
