shaunwwfc
Still an insanely harshly treated grey area for me. We are told to carry on tweaking tactics on a game by game basis, something I personally enjoy doing, yet familiarity suffers like a dog as a result? It is overkill for me. It insults footballers general intelligence for me. Having said that, I want to play without the FM editor in my new game. This means having no option to keep maxing out TF. I also dont want to play touch. So, in everybodies experience, what would people say is the quickest, or even most effective way to get this under control? Ideally, I would want to start my season with all my 3 tactics on at least competent. I know from experience this is not possible. But advice and guidance would be very well received. herne79
We are told to carry on tweaking tactics on a game by game basis Says who? Sure you can do that, but there is no need to and as a result you are using the in game editor to sort out your constant tactical familiarity issues. Rather than spending so much time before every match changing your system to how you think an opponent will play, why not simply start each match with a single system that you are confident in and then tweak that (if needed) based on how the match actually plays out? If you want to change things before each match then by all means do so. You could even say it's a more realistic way of playing. Having 3 completely different "dummy" tactics may help you there, so any changes made would have limited impact on familiarity, so if you want to keep playing in this manner that may be your best bet. Because 99% of the time I have no confidence in the systems I make. Don't get me wrong, I think I am OK. Probably the average tacticican in FM terms. But say for example, one game as a result of the opposition/time of year I want to go from playing a short passing game to a direct passing game. Should TF have to penalise us in such a manner?? I have never ever had fluid at any point during the season when not using the editor - therefore it is likely the bar would go from (at best) accomplished to awkward. In translating this to real life, do you really think a manager would say to his players pre-game "right, lets try and go a bit more direct today".. and as a result 11 professional footballers stand up and walk out the dressing room completely bamboozled by that? I just hate TF. So the question remains, what is the best way of trying to control this and keep it in check? I may well be missing a secret way of using the training.
