if player basically stop improving at 24 how peak at 27+

what it the process that makes a player generally better at 27-29 than 24/25 if that's basically when their attributes stop improving?

The answer is that they don't stop improving at 24-25. Their progression is just slower.

Players don't peak at 27-29. FM favours the idea of an earlier but longer lasting "peak" period for players now. Significant improvements after 24/25 would be considered unusual (but still possible).

But in the late 20s physical attributes could fall off and be replaced by mental ones, which could make them better overall players, potentially.

okay cool, just i've been told that 24 is the age when improvment really stop/slowm nd if a player has high potential at 23 but low CA he has no chance of reaching it.

That's good to hear as i was just think careers like Vary's would but very unlikely/impossible in game.

Though they don't happen often in RL.

careers like vardy's are indeed quite unlikely/impossible in the game. it is not only the way PA/CA works but more the way AI manages squads. it gets better however.
