mrhorse1
Is there an attribute that determines a goalkeepers ability to save penalties?
Welshace
Not one particular one, But you can safely assume attributes such as One on Ones, reflexes etc will be crucial.
Geordieboy52
I guess hidden attributes such as consistency and important matches will count too.

If you mean goalkeepers ability in FM17 then dont worry about it because they nearly always save them or the players misses completely. I've seen this on lots of videos on youtube and experienced it myself. Lets hope its addressed before November 4th.
Natedog17
Have to agree that I have not had a player score a penalty on the Beta yet.
warlock
Having played half a season so far, I can say that I have no issue with penalties. From an attacking point of view, we've scored almost all of them. From a defensive point of view, playing as Man Utd, De Gea has saved a bunch, but Romero hasn't saved either of the two he faced. In hundreds of hours playing FM16, I only saw one penalty missed (as opposed to saved), but I've already seen one penalty struck against the post in FM17. So, no, I'm not buying trekman's opinion. And on the subject of goalkeepers, it didn't happen in a game I was playing but I noticed that Volkan Demerel at Fenerbace was red carded in a Europe League match. So the ME seems to allow keepers to be sent off in this version.
-Ironhide-
I'm pretty sure keepers only save penalties when your 5-0 up against them. Otherwise, if you're 1-1 and you need 3 points to win the title, no - they'll save the penalty. (obviously not speaking from experience)
