Assigning scout to a league causes game crash

So whenever I try to choose a particular scout from the 'scouting' screen, the game crashes immediately.

I uploaded the save game to fm/game-saves/ and the file is called 'EHMEA_BUGGED_SCOUT_BUG_THOMOFFINLAND.sav'

How to recreate the crash:

Go to Scouting -> Scouts -> Choose Thom Venturi -> game crashes.

Edit: Apparently the crash occurs regardless who I have in that slot.

Have you edited the database on this saved game at some point ? Particular something with the names tables ? It seems the data relating to the name indexes of your scouts is somewhat different in the database compared to the index data stored within the scout searches. This is why it won't display them properly.

You can fix this manually by retiring as a manager and adding yourself back in. That should reset all the player/scout searchers. I'll try and also add some sort of a "Reset All" option to the search screen for these kind of instances so you don't necessarily have to add a new manager.
