KeralaBlaster
How do you decide transfer fee for selling a player? Do you sell for the player value? Or some (value + x% of value) like that? I find it difficult to sell my players, even if they are in good form. Other clubs are offering very much less than the player value.
fm_16
It all depends on which player you want to sell. If he is a key player in your squad then more than players value but for backup player to get rid off you have to offer at much lower price than his value. One technique is use is I offer the players i want to sell for free. then a lot of clubs bid and then i reject every bid. This creates interest in him. Then i again offer him 20% above his value. and some clubs start bidding for the player. accept the bids that offer max amount.
FrazT
A lot depends on the circumstances. If a club bids for your player who is not on the transfer list, then you can expect to get more than his game value, sometimes a lot more. If you are trying to get rid of a player that you dont want, or are actively trying to sell, then you will need to be prepared to accept a lower figure than his game value, sometimes a lot lower

But at the moment everyone seems to want me to sell them my center forward for less than I bought him for two seasons ago, roughly his value or even less. He's happy, on a long term contract, and doesn't care that I refuse the bids thankfully. I paid £50 million for Harry Kane. He's valued at £35 mil, has 3 years on his contract, has scored 51 in 65 in all competitions (35 in 48 league games), has me as a favoured club now and me personally as a favoured staff. Of course I'm going to accept a £30 mil bid...
