Edward21
All I know is Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland and Spanish for South American players. What are your thoughts and have you had any amazing players who couldn't get a work permit? Thanks.

Edward21
By the way, I've got a regen player who's good. I brought him for 30k, but he's not eligible to apply for a work permit, I've got offers from Hungary, Slovakia, Israel and Iceland? Are any of them the same as Belgium, Bulgaria or Croatia? Wiitastic
Or you can just use Sigames own ingame editor and give him a 2nd nationality of the nation he is playing in

Guest
A tier 2 visa is only valid for the contract it was issues with, a new contract means a new visa is required.

Guest
Actually as the criteria for FA sponsorship was further restricted this summer it's more likely to happen at the moment & it will have happened before as the rules have always be clear in regards to the ratio of international appearances & FIFA ranking. Welshace
I think a great example of this would be Joel Campbell.. bought by Arsenal and it took him 3 seasons to get a tier 2 permit, and that was only after his world cup appearances in 2014... Each and every time a contract is signed, a permit is needed, and that permit is determined on whether the player passes the criteria needed. Having said that, Greg Dyke overhauled the old system for appealing the decision which means that it isn't just a case of proving a player is of the highest calibre and should get a failed wp decision appealed... it's now based on a real points system based on transfer fees, wages (basically contribution to the economy etc) as well as playing for to clubs etc. I'm not sure if that's implemented in game yet, i'm sure Barside could add to that though? Guest
The rule changes are after my time & I've not read up on the changes to the appeals criteria so hard for me to comment, my last involvement with WPs was to get a tweak in the exceptional talent exemption as it was too low & iirc checked against the PA rather than PPA. Edit: Just started to look at the tier 2 riles (I had to learn tier 4 rules last year & never thought I'd be doing it again ) & footballers are subject to the English Language criteria, that would be a fun one to included in FM. Deadline Day deal falls through due to WP not being granted as player does not speak any English or worse a WP being withdrawn for a pre-agreed contract as the player failed to learn basic English before the contract start date. Minimum income rule probably isn't a problem for a footballer but I might have a go at getting a WP for a player earning less than the required amount.
