Y'all need to fix this!

Recommended Posts

I am playing Swindon, I worked my ass out to get to the premiership, and had to pay close attention to each game to maintain my current form. Then, when I checked the table, Brendan Rodgers with his Norwich is sitting 3rd in the league.

He cannot even put Liverpool at that position without Suarez. How can you say this is the most realistic game in the world with Rodgers pulling some Leicester City kinda miracle with player that have around 130 CA? When Rodgers just outplayed a bunch well-known coaches and dominated games against Saints, Arsenal, Man Utd and Everton??!!!

And what exactly should they "fix"? Make it impossible for teams that "shouldn't" win to win?

The irony seems lost on you too when you mention Leicester City...remind me how Ranieri was thought of prior to around the middle of this season...

Welcome to the forums,

Firstly, it's a family forum, keep your language in check and keep the anger out of your posts.

The second you press than continue button the first time, any resemblance to real life starts to differ.

Foremeuss says it all really.. what would you want? Every time you play the game that every team finishes exactly where you expect them to?

Chelsea and Everton are mid-table. Leicester are close to winning the league. Villa are going to smash the lowest points ever. Someone fix real life as well then, please. :(

It's a joking tone, but it's just to show to real life can be quite surprising as well.

Out of curiosity, do we have any posts from last season complaining about how the game must be fixed because Leicester were doing too well in the league, rubbish strikers with lots of pace like Jamie Vardy kept scoring, and some hopeless underachiever of a manager like Ranieri was threatening to win trophies at whichever club side picked him up?

Just for the record: Ranieri has never been an underacheiver. He's had a very good career as a manager, with a history of doing well with teams that weren't expected to do that well. He's worked in some very difficult circumstances in some of the club's he's managed, and often been unable to pick up much silverware due to circumstances out of his control. And by the way; he managed Chelsea to their best league finish in 49 years, breaking the club record for fewest goals conceded and highest number of points in a season, seeing only the mighty Invincibles ahead of him that season. He handed a team that was ready to finally win the league over to Mourinho, on a plate. Then getting sacked. That's not underacheiving though.

Rodgers beat Arsenal, Liverpool and MCFC (eventual winners) with Swansea in his first season in the Prem. They started the 2nd season setting the pace and were 2nd for the first month. I dont see the issue with him doing this again

I agree with the point, but even Aston Villa aren't quite as bad as Derby County were ;)

At least the Derby players of that 07/08 season had the decency to work their backsides off, however limited in talent they were. :applause:

I'd be abit insulted if I were one of those players and was compared to these bunch of spineless cowards at Villa today
