Are Transfer embargo hardcoded

Hi there,

I was wondering if all transfer embargos are hardcoded ?????

I have just started a game with Notts Forest and even though i changed the embargo date using the official editor it refuses to stop the embargo on the chosen date.

If the game overrides my chosen date what is the point of having embargo date in the editor.

Can someone please confirm what is going on :-)

It also doesn't replicate the real life embargo, whereby teams could loan players (on wages up to the restricted amount per week). You can still sign frees but no loans.
