bentley2011
So I'm in my third season with West Brom: won League Cup in 1st and Euro Cup in 2nd. Now towards end of January in third and in knockouts of Champions League and 4th in the league, six behind top. Obviously star player is Saido Berahino, who has hit close to 30 goals in both full seasons and has 12 in the third. However, I foolishly let him enter the last year of his contract and he refuses to entertain offers from me and kicks up an almighty fuss whenever I reject a bid. I could probably get around £20m for him from a PL team in these last days of January or I could keep him on and hope he'll sign at the end of the season. Which should I do and if I sell, who would be a good like-forlike replacement?
Welshace
I'd sell, there is no guarantee you can change his mind before the end of his contract... and 20million is a great sum to get for an easily replaceable striker, with a few attitude problems. bentley2011
Cheers. Who would you buy? WOuld a third season Jamie Vardy be an adequate buy?
Welshace
Depends who's available and will come to you..... How about : Ayoze Perez? Vietto? Berardi? Belotti? Diogo Jota? Gabriel Jesus? Johannes Eggestein? Danny Ings? Sergio Araujo? Marcos Astina?
Geordieboy52
Lucas Waldenschmidt (sp) should be pretty great by then.
